At Jane and Robot, our goal is to help web developers be more successful with search by helping provide design patterns optimized for real people, but also smart about search engine robots. In addition to the content we provide on the site, we host free network events to talk about particular search-related development issues as well as more in-depth workshops and sessions.

  • June 4th @ Bell Harbor : SMX Advanced Developer Day
    Provides n-depth details about writing search-friendly code for your web applications. We heard from Microsoft, Adobe, Google, as well as developers with real-world experience building web applications that attract visitors through search. We heard how to diagnose infrastructure issues and implement solutions that work. The day covered a variety of technologies, including asp.net, IIS, Apache, Silverlight, PHP, and Flash.
